Same questions.
Every morning.

“Which job are we at?” “What’s the address?” “What’s the gate code?”

You sent it yesterday. Now it’s 5:30, and you’re sending it again.

The information may be buried in a text thread, attached to an old plan or sitting on a whiteboard back at the office. Give the people doing the work one current brief they can find before they head out.

Put tomorrow’s job in one place

Start with the job name, address, work date and arrival time. Then add who is expected, what they’re doing and what has to be ready before they start. Include parking, entry instructions and the person to call if the plan changes.

Keep sensitive access details in the private version. A public post is not the place for a homeowner’s address or gate code.

Mark which plan is current

Put an update time and an owner on the brief. When something changes, send the revised version to the people it affects and tell them what changed. Otherwise, someone may arrive with yesterday’s screenshot.

A changed date means more than a changed calendar

If plumbing moves from Tuesday to Thursday, check the next trade, delivery and inspection before you settle on the new plan. Then tell the crew, subs and client who need to know. Confirm they received it.

Make it easy to find

Use one agreed place for the current brief, rather than another separate thread for every question. Ask your crew where they already look before the day starts, and make the plan easy to open there.

Use the free job brief. Fill it out, save a PDF and share it privately with the people working on that job.

That’s the problem we’re building around

LenzPoint is in development. We’re building it around the real work of coordinating remodeling jobs: the crew, the subs, the client and the current plan.
